George Charles Garman 09/09/09 to 01/29/10

January 29, 2010 our world was turned upside down when our 4 month old little boy earned his wings after a battle with Mitochondrial Disease and awoke in the Lords loving arms.

"Life can not be measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away."

George's Guardian's of Grace Projects

Stocking project is now in full force collecting donations. We have a list of the items we can use. You can also choose to sponsor a stocking in memory or honor of someone else. We will include a paragraph or two in the cards we place in the stockings to let the recipient know about the person that means so much to you. Our paypal account is posted on this page and ready to take donations. Email us for a list of items needed or with any questions or information you would like included on a sponsored stocking/donation.

Earie sounds of morning

Well right about know we had found George's body and things were in full swing. The police were rushed to the house as I stood there helplessly wishing they could do what I could not until that moment. His little body was rushed to the ER where they were no more successful....my heart is just breaking thinking about how fast that morning went. It was so sad and so hard...you can live through the shock of it all and that is why the second year is so hard...all of that is gone. The cold reality of it all is in your face. I was up all night with panic attacks taking medication and prayin they would subside so I could get back to sleep.

Today we have decided since Hugh had to work yesterday, we will off space to anyone who wants to come around 2pm and share the happiness for his birthday and joy we do hold in our hearts for George's heavenly birthday. If you cannot make it please consider doing a random act of kindness and coming back to let me know what you did. I am headed to the craft store today to get me a scrap book. It doesn't have to be a memory you have with him alive but maybe somehow he touched you in some capacity. I have tried to do this before without much success but I hope more people choose to help out so we can fill his book and each year add to it on his birthday/holidays/heavenly birthday.

Please keep us in your prayers and those also who celebrate the same tragedy we do today. May God's loving peace find thyme and comfort them the way they need to be.

  1. Some years have passed, it's now been two,
But time won't ease how much we miss you.
To me you're here and always are,
Yet days like this, Heaven sure seems far!
Some might think that you're just gone,
But everyday I bring you along.
You share my days, you share my joy,
My heart's a home for you, my Georgie Boy!
I'm sure time for you is a blink of an eye,
While we still cry each day asking, "Why?!"
Though the world turns on while you're away,
Know, in me, you still live everyday!

May God hold hold you close until we can.
Rest in Peace Sweet Georgie Boy!
